Back Story

Honestly I probably could not tell you the exact time I made this, probably around 2006 or 2007. Originally it was for a "Flash Wars" competition a friend and I would have, this particular one being who could create the best helicopter engine. We'd generally only give each other a few hours before we compared our hard work. My competitor’s chopper was so poor I barely remember it, so I won with what you see now. The killable enemies and changeable weapons I had coded in was just my icing on the cake. Several times I thought about turning this into an actual game, but never did. Much later on, in 2010, I created a separate version with a stand-alone helicopter for the website Whirled.com. It was to be sold as a "toy" item for people's virtual rooms for real money. Currently, it's earned me about $25. Not bad for what was just a cheesy engine with no intent of ever becoming anything else so long ago. If I ever fine tune it tremendously, you may see this as a complete game.
